    Hi

Does anyone know how to go about obtaining a separation when one party has returned to their home country (non EU)? 2 children (Irish citizens, residing here), no joint assets/property? Mediation obviously not an option, they aren't providing maintenance for the children. Limited finances would be a factor also as extremely stretched with one income, childcare etc.. Thanks

If you know their address you can serve separation papers on them by registered post, after a number of weeks depending on what response you get will determine your next step.
