In fairness, things can go wrong from time to time. It's unfortunate, but it happens. It's how a company rectify the issue that they should be judged upon IMO.

Already did and they where claiming the Peugeot part was supposed to be in vw Audi box and the reply was more of a not my problem why are you bothering me in customer services.

Yes it may not be the typical sing somebody's praises post, but don't you need both.

Only decided to rectify my problem after they saw my review.

In fairness to MG, I had a wrong item delivered last year, rang them and replacement was sorted even faster than the original delivery.

Clearly not the same , they will replace it, found micks garage very good with after sales service.

Any problem I've had with Micks garage has been dealt with quick and hassle free. I work in main dealer and we get the odd part in the wrong box or instead of two parts in a box there might only be one. These things happen, people make mistakes

Shower of cowboys I ordered an oil cooler for a Passat that didn't fit. It turned out they had the wrong cooler listed on the site. No way would they accept it to change it they said it was dirty even though it never made it to the car. I got one from Otto after, a much nicer company to deal with and their components are genuine.

I've used micksgarage on a number of occasions. Order a roof rack kit for a Ford Focus and received a kit for a passat, ok human error? I ordered a timing belt kit and water pump for my current Audi and the timing belt kit box was opened when I received it.

Since then I've used motorparts who seem to be cheaper by a few euro on a lot of there stuff, eurocarparts for the odd few bits and pieces and the local motorfactors.

wrote to them about a mistake I thought was on their site under MK5 Golf wipers, they said it wasn't a mistake so I ordered. Sure enough the wrong part came and with no return sticker which it should have had with it

5 emails later with a reply from a different person each time on 4 of them and who obviously didn't bother to read the previous emails I gave up, the wiper is sitting on top of, the wardrode

i'll never use them again and have turned many people away from using them.

theirs no excuse for such a piss poor service, i bloody wrote to them about the mistake first and they didnt even check it out! how many others did the same

I generally only use MG for oil when it's on special offer, and a few cleaning products.

The only thing they ever messed up was 2 x 4L of oil came as 8x1L. But that suited me just fine.

Seem pretty good in general however last part i ordered was pretty poor quality - a window regulator. Still i guess that is why is was cheap.
That same order was delayed in the post after paying next day delivery.
I contacted mg to enquire if they had put the correct address when it didnt turn up on correct day and after id seen it go to the other end of the country on an post tracker.
I wasnt claiming it was their issue but idiot from mg couldnt grasp what my problem was arguing its still next day so its not late yet even though it was now at the wrong end of the country amd all postal deliveries had been made for that day.
