    Hi,
I have a 2015 Volvo. It's warranty is due to expire soon. Does anyone know of a reputable independent garage in limerick/ Clare/ Galway area who could check out the car so that I can get the Volvo dealer to do any necessary work?
    Thank you

You may find it difficult to get an independent to check over a car for warrantable failures when they didn't provide the warranty and won't be getting the work, how much would you be willing to pay for that anyway?

Similarly, if you rock up to Volvo with a list of things that a non affiliated independent garage said should be covered by their warranty you will most likely be ran.

Lots of main dealers offer end of warranty inspections for free if you ask them, particularly if you service with them. It's great for them because they will get work out of anything they find, so they'll be keen to find as much as possible and it's probably handier for you as you won't have to pay for the preliminary inspection, you won't have to make a second/ seperate journey to have repairs carried out and nobody will know the soft spots of your Volvo better than a Volvo dealer.
