New car opinion & trade in value

Folks I got a lot of help here a few months ago when I was changing my car so I'm back now that herself is switching.

She currently drives a 12 Focus with 120k Kms on the clock with full dealer stamps every time a service was due. This will be traded against a newish car in the next month or so.

She is considering spending €18,000 - €20,000 including the trade in value of her own (€7,000 ISH?).

So far the following has caught her eye

    Seat Leon (1.2 petrol)
    Peugeot 2008 (1.6 diesel)
    Renault Capture (1.5 diesel)
Citroen C4 Cactus (she thinks it's funky)
    Opel Astra

Any thoughts on the above? Is the trade in value realistic? Hoping to go test drive a few of them this week.

You know Nissan is basically owned by Renault and vice versa.

Anyway. I really like the c4 cactus too. Great mpg on the diesel

The focus she has is probably the best of the bunch. I wouldn't be handing over 20k for any other cars mentioned there, unless she is a after a newer number plate.

As mentioned, french cars are muck....and I know from first hand experience on a few of them.

She ended up buying a Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo. She fell in love with it after spotting on in a local dealer and she's delighted with her purchase.
