Changing DRL bulb to LED?

Have a 3008 and the DRL on the driver side has gone twice in the last 6 months. Thinking of changing to LED. Is it allowed? I'm thinking the LED is not going to blow as regular out at all. Might just have been grease mark that caused the latest to go but they are a pain to change.
The bulb it needs is a HP24 24W.

    Thoughts?

Absolutely no problem. Just get canbus type bulbs or you might get a blown bulb warning light as the LEDs draw less current.
