Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Walter Carl Becker
    (1950 - 2017)

    Requiescat in pace

A huge loss to the music world. Walter Becker, together with Donald Fagan formed a binary star system of musical integrity. Their studio wizardry and obsessive attention to detail resulted in a body of work that will remain unapproachable in terms of the levels of pure sophistication it reached.

Perhaps Walter will, in true Bodhisattva fashion, give the world an encore?

Anyone remember a band called "the naked lunch" used to play Dublin about 15+ years ago, were a cover band of Steely Dan and were unbelievably good? Whatever happened to them?
