Bought it today, on vinyl obviously hipsters. It was sold out on vinyl in the few shops I tried in Dublin but I got the last copy in Golden Discs Blanchardstown. How mad is that? So it's selling, anyone heard it yet? I'm sitting here drinking an IPA listening to it, it's top notch so far pop pickers.

I think it's really excellent. I used to and how do you sleep are my favourites so far. I reserved a copy of the vinyl in that new shop in Galway.

Put it on in the car on Saturday and what should been a 5 minute spin became a 2 hour spin. It sounds exactly like an LCD album and that's fine with me.

Just having my first listen at the moment (EP got in the way over the weekend). Liking it so far, some very good tunes.

Have a ticket for their Dublin gig at the end of the month and then I'm seeing them in LA in November too!

Damn, id be hoping for more from the new album. I've seen them play almost all of those tracks at least once. I was afraid they might just stick to the singles, none of them are my favourite tracks on the album. Also 16 tracks a bit short? I know some of those are 7 mins but still.

Loving the new album. How Do You Sleep is the standout for me. Love Oh Baby and Black Screen too.

Was at that gig in CPH on Thursday. They were out of this world. But defo would have loved some more new stuff though it must be said. I honestly think that HDYS is going to be a new All My Friends/Dance Yrself Clean by the end of this tour.

We're in for a treat at the end of the month. Roll on the 29th.

Definitely beg, borrow or steal to get to see them at the end of this month.

I'd be delighted with this next Wednesday! New album is fairly disappointing so the more old stuff the better as far as I'm concerned.

Why do you say that? You're the first person I've heard express a negative opinion. I can see why some people might feel that way though. There's a lot less party tunes on it, if you know what I mean, no songs like Dance yrself clean and daft punk etc. It's a bit more sombre. I don't think it's as good as Sound of Silver but I like it a lot.

Having been at that gig I was definitely disappointed with the lack of new stuff despite the gig itself being absolutely outstanding.

I'm certainly praying for "How Do You Sleep" making an appearance.

Opinions and all that but I find 'How do you Sleep' to be one of the most skippable songs on the album. Enjoying it overall and looking forward to seeing it live next week.

I'd also be looking for more new stuff on this tour. I didn't get a ticket any date as I wanted to wait and see if the album was any good before making a decision. Turns out it's strong enough and still growing on me.

I felt like the 'first chapter' of their career was closed so perfectly that I'd hope they'd have the strength of their convictions to heavily feature the new material in live sets going forward. Otherwise it just feels like a big nostalgia-fest. A pretty awesome nostalgia-fest but not one I'm super eager to attend this time around.
