Tesco have Doritos nachos on sale for €2 the price says €2 for 200g bag, but Tesco only stock 180g bag in my two local stores. Is it legal to advertise a 200g bag for €2 but sell a 180g bag in its stead?

Their website says 162g for some and 180g for others.

These things are almost always down to human error. Were they 200g at some stage and Doritos changed pack size? If so someone just forgot to change it most likely

I've checked 2 stores miles apart, surely selling something advertised at €10 per kg but charging €11.11 per kg in multiple stores is more than human error?

Prices in the tills are controlled centrally, if one is wrong, they all all tend to be wrong.

the "price per kilo" listed in tesco is very often incorrect. I was pricing things per kilo/litre/unit for a long time before it was required. I still do them in my head. Tesco do not give you their price promise when these are wrong, if they did I would clean up.

supervalue still show a 200g bag my guess is they are still working off old pack sizes on the system and it is calculating based on that.

Pricing in Tesco would be controlled by head office, so a mistake there would be seen in every store in the country. Chances are this will be rectified by Monday when a complaint goes into tesco

Not sure, it seems the pack size used to be 200g and is now 180g, nobody has shown historical prices. It is also not fair to compare new/old prices as they were not sold loosely per kilo. i.e. if the 200g was taken off the market and a new 30g pack was all you could get it would be unfair to compare the price per kilo values. After chocolate bars reduced in size I have noticed a lot more offers, but people like to make out like the price stayed the exact same.
