Have my one on Tuesday week.... Is it like the car test at the start where the examiner points to pictures or asks questions about the rules of the road ?

One final question for those of you in the know..... driving test and cpc practical are booked for same day.
If I fail the driving test does that mean the practical doesn't go ahead and the rsa make €32 on me?

No, you can still take the practical CPC exam after your driving test. Besides you don't even know if you've passed the driving test until you've finished all the tests.

When I did my Rigid Test in 2010, the examiner gave me a few minutes outside after the drive before starting the CPC practical. I was convinced that I failed the driving part because the back wheel tipped the path on the way back to the test centre.

Passed all tests in the end and was given all the paperwork to get my licence and CPC card!

Cpc is done before the driving test. You can't fail the cpc it's easy
