    Hi

I have an issue with or Bosch classcix washing machine, once you set the program and press start you can hear the machine start to fill with water but then it doesn't do anything else. It makes a click as if something else should happen but no joy the drum doesn't turn it it's as if the drive motor isn't being engaged.

Her indoors is apoplectic at the thought of having no machine for the kids washing so before I write of the Bosch and buy another can anyone suggest is it an easy fix or what the issue might be.

    Thanks

Can you see water in the drum.?
    Is the door locked.?
Seems like the motor needs new brushes.

    POWER OFF BEFORE ANY CHECKS

Yes water in the drum and door locks just clicks then nothing happens. Do you need to strip out the motor to check the brushes?

Yes, the motor needs to removed from the machine and the brushes taken from the motor for inspection. You need a little bit of know-how to tackle it yourself.
Don't attempt it unless you are comfortable doing it.;)
You will get a few hints on the espares.uk website on replacing brushes.
    Best of luck....:)
