I have a 2006 BMW 3 series 2L Petrol one lady owner from new. It's still a nice car but my wife now drives a small economical car and the BMW is now mine but I don't like it. It's costing me €1,500 per year for tax and insurance and I don't find it practical car for my needs. I'd prefer a car for taking my medium sized dog around.

Does anyone know of any good scrappage offers for this car or any advice or comments please?

Depends on your budget, annual mileage and whether it must be a hatchback, There will be 181 deals (maybe not so much on petrol scrappage)

    My mileage is low.

I'm at that middle age stage of life where I have worked hard and have a few quid feel like it's time to treat myself although wife won't let me over spend ha ha :)

My wife's car is a new VW Polo and I like that but the driver's seat kills my back.

In my day job I drive a company pick up Ford Ranger and I love that however I wouldn't like to be fuelling those from my pocket.

I'm really keen to see does any carmakers offer any good scrappage offers on my 2 litre petrol BMW. I suppose the max I'd probably spend is under €30k. I like the VW Golf estates and the Skodas. I tend to like all German brands

What spec and how much are you ideally looking to get? You might be better off chancing done deal first maybe

You'd be surprised as to who may like a nice well looked after petrol BMW, not many around.

Put it on one of the specialist BMW sites - bmw-driver or bmwhaus.

An 06 320i is probably still worth €4k or so if in good shape isn't it?

Do as I do, buy a car, bring it home. The complaining only lasts for a few years.
