Hi

I recently signed up to the Hap scheme as I was privately renting. I am a single parent finishing off my college course. My rent is €150 over the hap cut off point and I pay €30 per week also. My LL wants to put the rent up by another €150 and tbh I couldn't afford it. Does anyone know if it is possible to go on the housing list for a council house as I won't be able to afford the rent hike. Thanks in advance.
