Getting tp Portlaoise - Electric Picnic

Looking for advice please. I need to get from Carlow to Portlaoise tomorrow for noon. Should I head the normal route through Stradbally ? Will I be ages trying to get through Stradbally with the Electric Picnic traffic ?

You could take the R430 (Castlecomer roundabout on ring road) out from Carlow town and it'll bring you to Abbeyleix. From there take main road to Portlaoise.
