shock horror .... the lovely people in Revenue have their CO2 rates wrong,
the online calculator used to allow you to manually enter the CO2 emissions but not anymore, maybe they hoping people will just run with their figures,
anyways they are wrong , I have checked it with Audi themselves that the figure on garage site is correct - which it is , approx 35 g/m of a difference,

anyone had this issue before with them, and how to address, I can't call them till Monday :-/

    cheers,
    T

To be fair, they'll go with the figure on the V5 for the actual emissions when you need to pay. There are often loads of different versions of the same spec made by manufacturers, do there'll be loads of different Co2 figures.

What model/year/spec is it and what's the emissions figure you have?

On the day of the inspection they go off what is listed on the car's V5 registration document. The online calculator is designed to give people an idea of what the VRT will be. It is not written in stone whether the figures are listed there or you put them in manually. The co2 figure on the car's V5 document is the only co2 figure you should be concerned about.
