Pine Varnish

I recently put laminate floor in a bedroom. I removed the skirting to do this.

The doors, skirting and architrave in the room are all bare pine, varnished but no other finish I can see. The skirting I got is unvarnished and much whiter than the other pine bits in the room.

Is there some varnish I can use to 'yellow' it a bit or is it just that it goes yellow with time?

Oil based clear varnish will turn pine yellow, over time. You could also lightly sand the varnished wood , prime and paint it

It will yellow in time anyway after using clear varnish

Yeah I figured it'd yellow but was hoping to speed it up a bit. So it'd match a bit better.

Oil based it is so. Thanks men.

Actually one more question while I'm here. Can you buy skirting already varnished?
