What plane is EI990?

A plane just flew overhead and Flightradar 24 tells me it was EI990 which I understand normally means a test flight. It seemed like a large aircraft (Flightradar 24 said an A330 EI-DUZ but that may not be correct?

It flew from Dublin Airport and maintained altitude of about 3000 feet, and is now returning a few minutes later to the airport from what I can see.

    Thanks, just curious...

EI990/991 are positioning or test flights (these may by aircraft hired by Aer Lingus on way to/from base)
EI1XXX is a rescheduled flight, where XXX is the original flight number
EI2XXX is an extra flight added to the timetable, where XXX would have been the flight number had it been in the published timetable

Of interest EI141 was a new flight to Miami! Operated as EIN1PT Airbus A330, EI-DUO.
