I'm looking to sell my Nissan Almeria

    It's 2006
    Silver
    Saloon
    210KM
    Petrol
    Manual
    1.5L
    New Gear Box (February)
    NCT until Jan 18

How much should I look for this car?

I was thinking about 1200, and accepting anything north of 1k.

I'd say if you get anywhere near 1k bite their hand off. There are alot of them for sale these days, having a new gearbox fitted should help though.

Ask €999 to get into search filters and take anything near it.

Once you get your ad done, stick it in the bangernomics thread.

I just bought a 2006 Nissan Almera for 1200 . However it had less than 80,000Km on the clock and was serviced with a new timing chain (all of which I verified) so apart from a few easily sorted issues its in mint condition. Maybe I got lucky . Or maybe tax and insurance is just becoming increasingly unaffordable for potential buyers which is driving competition out of the market for slightly larger vehicles. It also seems to be a slow season for car sales at the moment because people are spending their spare cash on holidays.
I think with your sort of mileage you should definitely bite the hand off anyone who offers a grand.

Unfortunately I don't think you'd get any offers anywhere next or near a grand, take anything north of €800 if you can. They're just not a desireable car and there are loads of them for sale with much less miles on them than yours.
