Hi folks, im refrubing an old house at the moment, the walls infront are painted including the caps, i plan on plastering the wall but i want to remove all the paint from the caps and take them back to raw concrete,

Whats the best way to do this, i have a strong washer already but i assume il need some make of paint strippers

Hi Jap, I would use a powerful washer, rented if your own one is not powerful enough.

Owatrol DSP800 will strip paint from anything ( except plastic as far as I know). Only trouble I think its quite expensive.

I recently stripped back some concrete window sills with several layers of old paint using a hot air gun. Was very successful, and a lot less messy than using paint stripper.
