You may however be entitled to a different payment.

DA is an social assistance payment and paid to people with a disability / illness once they are in financial need. It is not dependent on social insurance contributions like a benefit payment. If nothing has changed and you still qualify, payment should normally continue.

Make sure that you still qualify and that you have your paperwork up to date.

What kind of paperwork should I keep up to date

Have they sent you a list of documents they want?

Proof of ID, address, bank statements, payslips if any are typical things they would look for.

I think this is the wrong forum for this ,

But maybe give us some more details as to what they actually said or did

    howye2383,

I'd suggest that you raise your issue in the State Benefits forum.

Most lawyers tend to know little or nothing about Social Welfare law.

    What happened at the review?

Did they correspond with you after it, or was your payment simply stopped without any advance notice?

If you were written to - and you should have been - then you have the opportunity to appeal within 21 days - that should have been mentioned in the letter that you got.

Once you submit an appeal you can go to your Community Welfare Officer and apply for Supplementary Welfare Allowance until the appeal is decided.

Go your Citizens Information office and get them on the job!
