Croatia - family holiday recommendations

Hoping to go on a family holiday to Croatia next June/July for 2 weeks (1 week campsite & 1 week airbnb or villa).

Would love to see Dubrovnik, Split, Pula & some of the islands & lakes but don't fancy driving north to south.

Appreciate any recommendations on where is best to visit either north or south with kids ranging from 11-18 & any good 4/5 star campsites that are close to a beach & town. Oh and my husband is an avid cyclist so be great to find somewhere to keep him happy too 😉
    Thanks

Were looking at going to Istria this year ourselves but Spain won out in the end much to my disappointment.

We were In Dubrovnik last summer for a wedding with our 2 year old at the time, lovely city but very expensive, think temple bar in Ireland. But outside the old town was quite cheap.

We flew into airport about 30 mins from Dubrovnik with aer lingus.
