Hi we are thinking of getting a gas hob installed in our kitchen for the new build..the house isnt ready yet and there is no line in the kitchen for installing gas. wife prefers gas hob over the electric one. There is central gas heating in the house and the gas boiler is about 2 meters away in utility room. is it possible to have gas line extended by RGI and install a gas hob in the kitchen?? or it is too much to ask for?

would welcome any recommendations for RGI around limerick area.

    Thanks

Yes, Gas will have to be turned off at the Meter and the line purged. The extended to the new location. you will need a rgi to carry out this work. Make sure to get a cert on completion.
