Hello just wondering if you could help me, just got my first bill for broadband only, it is unusually high, I think I am being charged for the modem. The rep that I signed up with said there would be no additional charges for installation, equipment or data. and the bill would always be €55. It took over four months for the installation to take place, and I had to take three days off work, first two times engineer failed to show up, without any notification. I would be most grateful if someone could look into this for me.

How much is the bill for? Would it be for service since the install and then the next month in advance?

It's just under €100, just curious as the rep said any bill would never exceed €55, The first the last or any in between! And I think it's even cheaper now, if you sign up but I signed up over four months ago.

What does the bill say its for. I would imagine it covers the period since installation and then the next month in advance.

    Hi Whitman45,

Thank you for getting in touch.

When changing services or starting a new contract you may experience part period charge.

This would be on your bill on page 3 under services charge.

Part period charges are when you service have activated before a billing date that we have to bill you for this period of time and also the billing is one month in advance.

    Thanks,
    Adam

€100 sounds a bit high. I am assuming this is FTTH..

I think mien was about €80 ish which was first month plus a partial period of a couple of weeks. . Still works out at €55 per month you just have been charged for a month and a bit in one go..

From now on you will only be charged for one month at a time..
