Hi im not sure if this was discussed before but anyway i'm with an adi driver and he picks me up and we go to a destination 15 mins to get there and do practise (town where the test is held) and it takes 15 mins to get back.
So essentially i'm paying for only half an hour in comparison to one hour of teaching? Is this good practise or not?

Per the RSA, the lesson time should really be an hour for each EDT lesson. If you are picking up the skills quickly and both you and the instructor are satisfied with your progress, it might be acceptable to spend a bit less time on a particular lesson and practice other things during that time instead, but he really should be giving you a full hour of instruction and behind-the-wheel time during each lesson; the time spent driving you to and from the location shouldn't count (unless he is allowing you to drive during that time, of course).
