Northern Ireland trade-in?

Thinking of importing a 2016 car from the UK, but wondering what the best way is to avoid all the travel, import hassle and paperwork, plus privately selling on the old car.

So if I were to consider N.I., are there dealers geared up for helping with the R.O.I. paperwork, registration etc.? But more importantly will they take an R.O.I. car as a trade-in?

Each dealer is different, I think you'll have to make a few phone calls to see which ones will help, as I'm sure they will to get a sale. Your better of selling privately - trade value means ur be 1500-2000e worse off on your golf.

If the NI dealer has trade contacts in the south then they may very well take a southern reg car as a trade in if they know one of their contacts down here will buy it. You'll get the NI trade value for it though which would be alot less than down here.
