RTE Genome project??

You all know (or should know) about the BBC Genome project

If anyone in RTE is paying attention, is it possible that a similar project could be done.

I know that the RTE (RTV) Guide only goes back to 1962, but even that is a resource.
For example none of the newspapers would list the details of sponsored programs, they would just say:

    2:00pm Sponsored
    2:30pm Sponsored
    3:00 News
    3:01 Thee - o- one.

So come on RTE. It shouldn't be that big a job.

Great idea. The National Library (and I believe the RTE archives) does hold copies of all RTV/RTÉ Guides so it should not be difficult to set up such a project.

To whet your appetite, Transdiffusion, a bunch of UK and Irish telly enthusiasts, have scanned in some late 1960s RTÉ Guides:

    Look for Transdiffusion dot org/2014/08/29/rte-guide
