Best low budget/drugstore makeup brush sets

I'm looking to buy a new makeup brush set (that includes mostly eye brushes) but I'm not sure what brands to go for. I'm on a budget so I don't really want to spend more than €40+. I'm a bit iffy of Morphe because of the mixed reviews about their brushes. I use some Blank Canvas brushes but their sets are at least €50. Has anyone any recommendations? I've seen some really nice BH
Cosmetics brush sets for €20-25 but the lack of reviews on them are putting me off.

    Thanks!

I love real techniques brushes, I use them all the time. I recently bought unicorn brushes in pennys thinking they'd be grand, theyre only brushes and its all the one. Theyre so soft and well made but there is no comparison and it made me realise how good my RT brushes are. You can buy sets in Boots for under 40 euro, id really recommend them.

I would second RT for budget brand but I have heard great feedback on the BH Cosmetics sets as well but I have not tried them. Let us know what you go for

A third vote for Real Techniques. I've also recently starting using Zoeva brushes and find them good but they are a bit more expensive and my RT ones are still staying put in my holder alongside them.

I've recently cut down the number of brushes I use and haven't noticed too much of a difference but it's allowed me to buy slightly more pricey ones as I didn't need as many. Don't know if that'd work for you but might be worth considering.

Another vote for Real Techniques. I got a set for €20 in Boots with four face brushes: flat foundation, flat head kabuki, concealer brush and a contour brush with a brush stand/case. They're the ones with black and orange handles. They had another set of purple brushes for the eyes which I think was a similar price.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I completely forgot about RT so I'll definitely look into those! Has anyone tried Morphe brushes? Are they any good?

EcoTools are very good, iHerb has some good offers & ranges on them and real techniques.

Another Real techniques fan here- this may have been mentioned already but dealz are doing packs for 10 euro in my local store

I have morphe brushes and like them, I have some blank canvas and they are good but I find they don't hold their shape too well after a few washes.

I wouldn't go buying sets though, I've rarely bought a set where I found I used every brush in it!
Cloud 10 beauty is a great place for picking up a few different brushes at a time and they aren't expensive.
Spectrum are good and very cheap. Pretty too!!

My sis bought a stunning set of Morphed brushes just after Christmas and loves them.

She applied my make up with them a few times and I like the feel of them

I really like the Cara pharmacy set! Comes with most brushes you'd need and is 30 euro. I've had my set nearly 2 years and only one brush has given up.

I like Real Techniques as well but rarely find them on offer where I live, or at least they're not when I need to buy them.
I took to eBay recently and ordered concealer, contouring and foundation brushes. Some had no brand name so I don't know what they were but the foundation ones are Kabuki, dirt cheap at €1 each and free delivery from China. That's if you don't mind the wait of about 3+ weeks.

Dealz are selling Real Technique Brush sets for €10! there is a set of face brushes and an eye set that usually retail around €20 each. Might be worth having a look !

Eco Tools and Real Techniques are great and very inexpensive.

I have a Morphe fan brush and to be honest, I don't like it and it wouldn't entice me to try other Morphe brushes. It's the only Morphe brush I have tried and going on that brush alone, I wouldn't recommend them.

Thanks again everyone for the suggestions. I have a few Real Techniques brushes that I love and maybe will buy a set down the line. I bought a 12 piece set from Morphe. I've only used them once so far - they're a little bit rougher than I'm used to, but the eye brushes are really good! I would use every brush in the set, apart from one which is fine with me. I'll give it a few more uses before I recommend whether to buy them again or not.
