Saw horse

Not sure wheter its suitable for this sectio or not but does anybody have any experience with the sawhorse pictured below, would it hold big pieces of timber, would it be suitable for a one man operstion, or has anybody got a better type of one?

I bought mine on e-bay, I think I saw them on Donedeal too.
They'll probably be for sale at the ploughing too.

I have the same one as Patsy. Most crowds that sell chainsaws are selling them. They are better than nothing and sawing on the ground, but l wouldn't rate them. A pure nuisance if you have a few days work ahead of you to cut up. I find you are constantly adjusting them to the different thickness of the branch, and that gets tedious after a while.

This is what I'll be upgrading to....

They are irishmade and have self adjusting jaws which are a better design in my opinion. I've seen them demonstrated at shows. Good value too.

Ya, the one that Muckit posted is probably better alright. I haven't used it so cant say for sure.
