Temporary hoarding/fencing regulations?

    Hi,
    Im looking for information on hoarding requirements for a self build, I've been doing a lot of research and can't find any regulations on the requirements of temporary fencing/hoarding on a building site. Is there any particular requirements from the HSA or is it up to the main contractor/self builder to secure the site to the standard they desire?
    Any info would be a big help. Thanks

    Aw BryanF says above - the risk assessments carried out by the PSCS should say what's required.

    Have you employed a PSCS or are you planning to do it yourself? Bear in mind that it's a substantial undertaking as it means you are responsible for the coordination of Safety and Health on the site.
