Cashing in State Savings Cert early

    Hi guys. A few years back I put some money into a State Savings Cert and am now in a position where I want to cash it in before maturity date. Has anyone done this before? Just wondering if there's any gotchas I should be aware of. Not happy about having to mail in the actual cert (!) but I suppose using registered post should alleviate that. Thanks.
