    Anyone ever go here?
    http://www.bettergolf.ie/

Mrs has to buy a birthday pressie next month so just thinking about a few ideas

I have a couple of different Drivers/shafts and also a couple of different 3 woods. Maybe I have the wrong set up in the bag and maybe worth trying out the trackman and seeing the results

Thanks for the reminder Seve, I actually have a voucher for a lesson & trackman combine test at home that needs to be used this year :D

I've gone & done a half day short game group lesson & a full day full game session before there. The facilities are excellent & the set up is really good. The full day session was good. You had lunch with the pro half way through & he gave a talk around on-course nutrition, etc...

What I will say is that the group sessions can be tricky depending on the size of the group, as it can be hard to get real value for money if you're fighting for a couple of minutes with the pro

They have a number of in-house pro's, and depending on demand they also bring in a couple of pro's from other clubs if their needed.

So went for the lesson & combine test today at the GUI academy. Was a great way to spend a couple of hours & feels like it was very productive.

Had the lesson with Kelan McDonagh. A very good young pro. Made very quick insights & kept the changes simple & easy to implement. Was a sound fella too & good craic.

The Trackman combine test was very interesting to do too. I scored 67.3, which I was chuffed with. Think i had two 0 scores but also had a 98 & a 99. Had an average smash factor with the driver of 1.47 too so pretty happy that im getting good bang for the buck there. According to the analysis it puts me around the level of a 5 handicap (actual handicap is 11). So, i guess that means im underperforming & if I put the work in I've the potential to go lower.

Would recommend it if someone spots a deal or is looking for an idea for a Christmas gift.

Good to hear space. Mrs got it for me for the Birthday.
Decided to hold it till the beginning of next season rather than in the winter.
