All opinions welcome. 2014 2l TDI I have the option to buy a buddies Sline spec.

Anyone have experience with em? I must say I do enjoy the drive.

    The downside

Not As powerfull as other models I could get for the price.

    Obviously drink a little more.

A good remap will sort that out! Quattro models are scarce so it will sell quickly again, how much is he asking?

I can get it off him for 22,000. It has average miles, Irish car and he's the only owner from new and it has good service history.

    Downside.

It's red in colour i sorta hate red cars not a deal breaker.

A small few car park marks from other people's car doors, not bad the red just highlights it.

The killer is it's automatic ahh, almost got sick when I first noticed.

Automatic makes it more desirable IMO definitely more valuable.

Its a terrible colour (I hate red in any car) and its an auto which you don't want. Its going to be harder to run (although not much) so why are you even considering it?

Getting a car a bit cheaper than if you had to buy it elsewhere is not a good enough reason to buy a car that you wouldn't ordinarily buy if it were full price.

It's the Multitronic in that model though which isn't the most admirable of automatics.

Did the quattro not get the S Tronic?

The manual is a horrible thing the gears seem very notchy for some reason.

I'm not a real fan of red but as red goes Audi red is not bad. They scrub up well but can be a higher maintenance colour than the usual metallic alternatives.

If you don't like the colour, move on.

You wouldn't wear a T-shirt you didn't like the look of, this is no different.

I can get over the colour in just putting out my downside and being odd ðŸ˜.

Never had german car before, I guess automatics are are the future now.

Coming from mostly all Ford's, Presently 1.6tdci 9 years old now and never had a day's trouble from it over 200km.

Well I had a drive from 2wd a4 white, excellent spec noticed more power from it looks stunning imo. I was looking at Irish sites for a Quattro they are on the rare side and most are UK imports, looking at 30k for one I like. Any views on these?

I think ill decide on get the Quattro, it's really a nice drive coming out from a bend it's a strange feeling it's like it's glued or sticking to the road didn't think I'd notice it to much.

Anything to look out down the road with them? dual mass flywheel/turbo? Any joints on the awd prone to going?

Thanks for the feedback. All opinions take on-board.
