My little old dog passed away yesterday and we buried her in our garden today. In between all the tears I have been wondering about how to mark her grave. What do people usually do? Does anyone know where to get a nice small personalised pet headstone?

I'm very sorry to hear about your dogs passing, it's heart breaking losing your furry friend. I planted a tree in memory of my dog & will get a plaque when I find a nice one. I know some garden centres have them, if that's any good to you.

Thank you, she was 15 and we expected it - but it still hit so hard. I actually didn't think we would all be this upset - but she was so loved and was a huge part of the family.

I will be on the lookout for something in garden centres. There's no rush anyway - I want to find the perfect one.

My dog passed away a while back but too large to be buried so he was cremated with the ashes returned.
I small part of his ashes are buried in my land and I planted a young tree on his grave.,Thats 2 years ago and the tree is growing. I love the idea that his former form is changing into another ...
