How would this converter handle a dimmer?

    Hi,

Could anybody please tell me how this converter would behave if I connected it to a wall dimmer? Is there a chance I could damage either the converter or the dimmer switch? It is to power some LED lights on a kitchen unit. They work fine plugged into a socket but I already have a power supply on top of the unit connected to a wall dimmer (rated for LED).

Just see from the sticky that I might be better posting in consumer electronics but if anybody here knows, great!

I highly doubt this would last long on a dimmer. A dimmable converter will specify this somewhere on the case.
There's extra circuitry involved making them a bit more expensive.

Cheers - thanks Ken. I best have it wired up to just a switch.
