UL Entrance Scholarships

Hey guys i'm starting in UL as a first year this week and was looking into the possibilities of getting some form of scholarship based on leaving cert results but there doesn't seem to be much on the UL website about them. while I've heard of them being offered in previous years i'm not sure how the selection process goes or if they are even still offered. I'm studying the new General engineering course this year and got 601 points in the leaving. Any help or info anyone can offer is much appreciated!:p

The top graduating engineering student from the University of Limerick will also be eligible for the Hank Krabbe Medal and an accompanying stipend of €5,000. At the same college, there is €50,000 in funding available, thanks to Microsemi Ireland, to help support excellence in engineering. The Ennis-based company offers four scholarships, valued at €12,000 each, open to all school leavers, one each year over four years.
