Caked brake dust on wheels.

    Hey guys,

Recently bought a set of second hand alloys and two of them have quite a fair build up of caked brown brake dust on them. Whats the best thing to use to bring them up? I've tried Holts brake disc cleaner but the build up is quite stubborn and it didn't remove much.

    Cheers.

Sounds like they were never washed or had a sticking caliper - its heavy fallout contamination.
You will need a combo of an acidic wheel cleaner (not recommended for regular use) and a fallout remover (iron remover)
