Hi, I am hoping somebody can recommend some nice hotels for me. Its our wedding ann soon and I've just had a baby a couple of months ago and my husband is snowed under in a stressful job...... So we are really thinking of a relaxing night away to unwind for our ann. We are in the midlands so open to any ideas as we're near enough to everywhere to travel to.
Maybe something nice and different like a hot tub in your room spa bath or something....It doesn't necessarily have to be a spa hotel
    Thanks in advance

Stayed in Bellinter House just outside Navan last Friday night. Quiet, laid back, very relaxing hotel.

Leisure facilities are free to all guests and include a steam room & outdoor hot tub.

Offers for spa treatments with "mid-week" including Friday which alot of places don't. e.g. Afternoon tea with 30 minute spa treatment for €50.

We got a West Pavillion room for €170 B&B. Some rooms have baths and at least one room in the main house has a big freestanding copper bath.

Carlingford is a nice little town with a few hotels and some great restaurants
Would also recommend Bushmills Hotel up north very highly and then dinner that evening out the road in 54 Degrees North restaurant

Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, Meath has always gone down a treat.

Fantastic restaurant there too and they often had mid-week deals combining room and dinner (which I highly recommend)

Make sure no weddings are taking place before booking though.

Have a look at Harveys Point in Donegal. Deluxe room has the jacuzzi. A bit pricey but well worth it. The food is gorgeous too.
