I read in the news this guy could be released to us here in Ireland as his trial hearing approaches.
At a time that countries are trying to deport and discourage Islamic fanatics, we could be receiving this man who is serving time for such behaviour.
All of the threads here are closed though. There is a thread open on the main Irish politics site but it is disappointing that discussion here has been closed down. Regardless what side one is on, it is disappointing that it is closed here.
I can't comment on whether it is a site/ mod policy or simply the threads that were open were derailed

So this looks like a thread for feedback rather than AH. Can you open the thread there please?

This is also a political discussion, so it would be more suited to open a thread on Halawa in the Politics or Politics Cafe fora rather than AH
