Reputable dog training course

I'm looking for a recommendation for a good dog training or behavior course.

I work full time with dogs in a rescue so I have plenty of experience but would like to get a qualification in training/ behavior.

Some training courses I've seen require you to do an very simple introductory course first as an entry requirement which quite frankly would be a waste if time and money for me given my line of work.

Something that's on in the evening or weekends would be best!

Have you looked up the Elista courses in Laois?

I just looked it up there, it looks good! Do you know of anyone who's done it?

There are a few posters here who've done the introductory, some of whom have gone on to the more advanced courses.
The theory is combined with practical application during residential weekends, and I think those who've done the courses will agree it ain't a walk in the park... It's challenging, but of huge benefit to people who already have experience of handling dogs like yourself.
The courses are also underwritten by Compass, an industry-recognised and well-respected educational body.
They're also not as expensive as other courses. Alison, who runs the courses, is fab... Vastly experienced and a great teacher.
Hopefully some of the graduates who post here will tune in and relate their experiences here, or by pm.
    The best of luck!

I've done two courses with Elista, and highly recommend them.
