Solars not heating water

Once again my solar panels aren't heating water on a warm day. Is the pressure at zero in the attached pic the reason for this? How can I adjust it up to what it should be?

    Hi,

"once again"...your solar are heating up the cylinder. You have 70ish at the top and 37ish at the bottom.
What is the controller saying about the collector sensor reading !??
And the pump speed / power ?

Is the pump / pressure that does not work properly,if that is the case !

    Hi, thanks for your reply...
The photo is of the gauges in the attic not at the tank. So the red gauge is saying water is coming in from the solars at 70ish and going to the solars at 37ish, but it's not getting to the tank, at the time this photo was taken the water at the top of the tank was reading 38 degrees on the digital monitor, it was sunny today and didn't heat up any more than this. The digital monitor was reading 90+ for the collectors today and nothing was coming to the tank.
We are trying to figure out how to release whatever it is that's causing the black gauge in the photo to read zero.
We had an air lock previously and had to get a plumber to use a pump to release this, and wondering is it an air lock again, and why this is happening again. It's a relatively new system in a 2 year old house (solars haven't even been in 2 years) and this is the 4th time this has happened.

the pressure gauge is not at zero it is at one bar what type of solar controller do you have and what are the running perimeters set up in the menu

You're right, sorry it is at 1 but it should be at 2 as far as I know. It's a Joule branded system. How do I find out what the running perimeters are?

Had the same problem myself, Has a slow leak of fluid from the system which meant pressure dropped & water did not heat. Leak was externally on the roof where the pipe connected into the solar panel. On a dry day like today look outside to see if there any sign off fluid leaking out.

you go into the menu on the solar controller it will tell you what temps the pump turn on and off at

You can only really check the pressure at night when the system is cold. If not any visibile leaks my money would be the expansion vessel has failed I'd it has make sure there is a cooling vessel fitted with the new one.

I'll check the pressure tonight. Thanks for the advice about the cooling vessel.

I'm having same issue. System just serviced a few weeks back. Now pump is reading 0bar and is running all the time the last couple of days, is it safe to turn it off until someone comes to look at it?

Yes, turn the pump off, it wont make any difference to the panel temperatures but will save the pump.
