Turbo trouble?

    Hi guys, hoping someone here can give me some advice!! I've a 2007 1.9tdi A4. Recently, when driving along steady around ~2000rpm I've noticed the car starts to chugg a little bit, but if I accelerate it pulls out of it.
    Also, since washing the car recently, I have a very obvious black patch right above the exhaust! Today, a friend driving behind me said he noticed a constant light smoke coming from the exhaust, however I couldn't notice anything in the rear view mirror!
    Anyone here shed some light on the symptoms, turbo trouble was the first thing that came to me, however she does seem to be pulling as she always did!

    Sounds like possible injector trouble. had similar myself. Car used to tick over rough but drive okay. Maybe look into having them checked or do a leak off test
