Failing the Repeats due to family death stress

So a family member died over the summer who I was really close to and I think that's why I might fail my Repeats.Would UL let me pass to the next year if I tell them the truth about how much stress I was/am under?How does it all work?Can I get to do a super repeat / supplement repeat?
