Aldi do their own brand version if that's any use to you ;)

I had one a few days ago. Still miss mint Feast though. That was much better than the regular chocolate version.

I haven't seen feasts in shop freezers at all this summer. Slowly but surely my youth is erasing behind me. First Marathon became snickers. Then today I discovered monster munch are now mighty munch. What the actual fúck is going on.

I picked up Feast multipacks in Dunnes a few weeks ago. Way smaller than I remember :(

I love feasts (especially the little chocolate bar in the centre) but they are very hard to get these days - There was one local shop that had them but that was about 3 months ago.

I think they had gotten smaller anyway.

I don't like that bit. I love the chocolate ice cream and the crunchy shell, but I eat that all off and then my wife has the rest.

    Or they are far away.

I prefer a Choc Pop which is similiar to a Mint Feast but without the block of chocolate inside. Haven't seen them for years.

Had a Loop de Loop a while ago and the top part fell off! That always happens with those

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,417 ✭✭✭ToddyDoody

They're so gay though... oh wait I'm thinking of brunches.

Feasts are really nice, I'd like to see them up the quality of the chocolate flavoured coating / centre though. Maybe try a white chocolate version too.

I remember when Feast was launched - way back in 1984/85, when I was a wee lad. Loved them then, especially the mint feast.:)

Haven't had one in ages. But please tell me they aren't gone!:(

Has the Milky Way gone from shops? I haven't seen bars of Milky Way in ages and all that's left is the rip-off Milky Way pouch of "stars" that are rubbish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,705 ✭✭✭Mountainsandh

Not a big fan of ice cream, but Feasts are my choice, always. What will I do if they're gone ? Magnums are way too fatty and rich for me.

You can get milky way fun size bags of 14.

I've never had a mint Feast but if they're better than the regular ones then they must be good!

I rarely enough have ice-cream, but a Magnum Almond or Twister does the job for me.

    Get your innuendo gags ready...

You can't beat a nice wibbly wobbly wonder.

Also sadly seem to have disappeared.

Not a feast to be found in shops around Galway.

I had a couple of Feasts this year so they're definitely still around. I prefer the icier ice-pops, in particular, Calippo-type ones. I'm eating a Jiggly Pop at the moment though, the Aldi version of the Wibbly Wobbly Wonder.

I hate when people come out with these comments! We've had great weather this year! May and June were great, with 3 good weeks for every bad one.

As somebody else said, that's the gay version of the Feast. :pac:

Feasts are still around, they are just so f*cking small now you can hardly see them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

I used to love feasts - but then they started getting smaller and smaller, especially the chocolate bit inside the ice-cream. Now they've gotten so small you can't actually see them with the naked eye.
I blame brexit or possibly trump, or could be those blacks or the gypos maybe, I don't know, I just want a fúcking ice pop, it doesn't make me Hitler:mad:

They just make them smaller now to save money. They also use cheaper chocolate as well which doesn't taste as good.

I don't know what the hell it is they pass off as ice cream in their ice pops, but ice cream it ain't - the kids left one sitting on a table in another room the other day, must have been there for about 3 or 4 hours before it was copped yet it hadn't melted. Still looked like ice cream, but had held it's shape despite being room temperature:confused::confused:

I spoke to a rep this summer when I was doing an order and when I ordered Feasts I was told they are discontinued!
I have seen them in Multi packs in Dunnes though.

I'm writing a letter of complaint to HB. They can't just stop making delicious ice creams and not tell us  First Orange super splits and now Feasts. It's war!!!!

Ahh disappointing to learn they are discontinued. Will have to find a new fix so.
