    Sorry if this is the wrong area, I was unsure where to post.
    I'm asking on behalf on my 65 year old dad. He's desperate to find someone nice that he can live out the rest of his days with. He's signed up to dating websites but all he gets are messages from hot Russian babes who want to marry him....
    so any recommendations on good dating sites or even the matchmakers that arrange dates for you if they exist!

    Anotherfriend might be what he is looking for, it's a paid site but there would be quite a few older people on it.

    You don't say if he is widowed or separated but there are support groups for people in these categories usually attended by people who are middle aged or older. I have heard of people meeting someone through these. While obviously the purpose of the groups isn't for people hooking up or getting their kit off, sometimes relationships can just form organically by people meeting others in a similar situation and less daunting than going through paid services. It might be one avenue to try.

    How about joining a bridge club or a similar club/ activity locally.
    I know of a few older people who met through a cancer/other illness support group after they were widowed.

    Id say you should look for sites geared towards older people. Im certain they exist. You dont see many people over 50 on the usual dating sites like Ok cupid, POF etc so he's probably wasting his time there.
