    Hi All,
I live close to the border and an out farm of mine can pick up uk freeview but I don't live there there is a shed and electricity. My house is a little over 4 miles away but pretty much line of sight.
If there some equipment I could get to receive the freeview uk at the outfarm and re-trasmit it towards my house soni could pick it up on my ariel?
    Thanks.

There must be a hill or something blocking reception at your house?

Anyhow, even if there is a legal, inexpensive way of retransmitting the signal, I wouldn't bother, I'd just use satellite at your house. (Unless you're blocked for that too.)

A hill blocking it alright. I have satellite but there are some extra channels like Dave on freeview but not Freesat

Dave is on freesat since the beginning of the month.

You can't legally repeat the TV signal as a TV signal. You could receive the signal with a network TV receiver an send to the house using a wifi signal.

What would I need to do this?

What would I need to do this?

Why would you want to? What channel is on Freeview now but not free-to-air on satellite?

What would I need to do this?

Do you currently have any network connection to the farm? If not you have a lot of setting up / purchasing to do.

You would need a network device at either end plus some directional antennas. Google ubiquiti wireless network devices.

A network TV receiver/server like Vboxcomm, HDhomerun or an Enigma based Linux receiver.

Then you would need either a smart TV or media receiver to view.

What channel are you trying to receive? many of the missing Freeview channels joined Freesat recently.

Stay clear of HD Home runs ANYWHERE on the Island of Ireland which picks up both Saorview and Freeview
They overwrite the UK LCN numbers with the saorview channels and don't seem capable of fixing this issue.
