Tuning Saorview on a Vu+ (Ultimo)

I've a VU+ Ultimo with 2x Sat cards and one Cable\Terrestrial card (DVB-T, DVB-C). I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to tune this to receive Saorview.

I've connected an antenna and there are some settings to chose from but no matter what I select, noting appears. Has anyone done this and do you have any suggestions please?

    Thanks :)

On my Duo2 the tuner is set up as follows (and is working perfectly)

Tuner Type: DVB-T2 (or DVB-T if that your tuner type) definitely not DVB-C
    Configuration Mode: Enabled
Terrestrial Provider: Europe, Middle East, Africa: DVB-T Frequencies
Enable 5v for active antenna: off

Then run an automatic scan on that tuner - you can set it not to scan the satellite tuner.

    Should be good.

Bugger, OK it looks like I cannot change from DVB-C to DVB-T. At the top is Tuner Type (DVB-C) and the nest line is Configuration mode (nothing connected). It looks like I cannot change the top line but I can enable the next line and it then displays options such as Scan Type and QAMS. This all looks like Cable and not Terrestrial :(

This is strange because here is the exact text of that tuner in the Configuration menu and it looks to me that it should be selectable??

    Tuner C: Vuplus DVB-C NIM(CXD1978) (DVB-C)
    Switchable tuner types:(DVB-T,DVB-C)
    enabled

OK, did some searching and it turns out that I needed a firmware upgrade. Did that and can now select DVB-T

Ran a scan but it didn't pick up any channels but this could be down to the crappy ariel I have. Ordered a better one and hopefully that's it sorted.

Final update: picked up this neat little antenna and Saorview is now working perfectly on my box:

The good thing I guess is that I have FreeSat and Saorview channels on the one box and they are all recordable.
