    Hi,
I am looking to get a cosmetic repair on a brand new volkswagen dark /smoked silver wheel. Has anyone any recommendations who could do a smart repair? I know the colour match will be hard to do but I don't mind paying for a good job. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Is it a diamond cut wheel? If so, I've used Rim Solutions in park west and it was perfect.
Also, smartrepair.ie do a mobile repair at your house. They're good too.

If you're looking for a good job, steer clear of smart repairs anyway! If you're willing to pay for it, then Wheel Wizards in Finglas is where I'd be bringing it. In saying that they won't be much more expensive for the fix than a smart repair would be, especially if you're only looking to sort one wheel.

As far as I can remember, wheel wizards don't do diamond cut repairs which I imagine the OP's wheels are

Not if they're the highline shadow chrome effect alloys they won't. They're not diamond cut they're just a paint/lacquer finish.

I imagine it's these based on his description...

Thanks for the reply guys. The wheel is painted and not diamond cut. It's a small enough paint repair but being a new car it's annoying the he'll out of me. I will give the recommendations above a ring tomorrow..
