The Canaries are hugely popular for Christmas and New Years and it's peak period in terms of availability of accommodation, so this is something you'll need to move quickly on to avoid disappointment.

I would strongly recommend Costa Sal in Lanzarote. It's a really good complex, I've stayed several times and anyone who's been there for Christmas has really enjoyed it. There's plenty on in terms of entertainment for adults and kids and there are two sittings for Christmas dinner, one at lunchtime and one in the evening. A lot of properties would have similar arrangements. If there's nothing available on their website (www.costasal.com) then drop them an e-mail as they might be able to organise something either there on in their sister property, Aqua Suites, in Puerto del Carmen.

Hope you get something worked out and have a better end to your year.
