    Hello all,

Heading to Budapest 15th to 17th of December for the Christmas markets. Would anyone have a suggestion of a hotel to stay in, two of us going, looking to spend around €225 for the two nights to avail of the €75 off deal on booking.com.

    Thanks

Not a hotel but stayed in gozdu apartments and booked through booking. Stayed four times before, in a great spot above a pedestrian street with bars and restaurant's. Can't hear them at night either. Fairly central too.

As I said, can be found via booking.com

Have a look at the Hotel Victoria. Its on the Pest side of the river. All rooms have views of the Danube and it is almost directly across from the Parliament building. Lovely night time scenes. Last time we stayed there it was November and didn't break the bank.

We stayed in a hotel just up from the Victoria. Victoria looked nice.

Tips for your stay. Do get a travel card - group one works out very reasonable.

Definitely consider a Danube cruise as you'll see lots you wouldn't otherwise see.

If you're tight for time during the day look into doing a nighttime bath experience. Rudas Baths do dinner & baths and have a roof top hot tub which is awesome even in winter.
