So we are visiting Galway first time tomorrow.

Would love to visit Salthill promenade, mutton island, fish aquarium. Is there public cark at this place?

Later in the day we will go to Galway shopping center.
Anything else worth visiting which could be seen in a day trip?

    Yes there is parking there.

You will likely be disappointed by the shoppong centre.

St Nicholas church and the market beside it are worth visiting and easily done in the afternoon.

Free parking at the aquarium and in Toft park car park right next door. You can stay there all day.

Galway shopping centre is a big Tesco with a few smaller shops surrounding it. Bigger branches of those shops in Galway city centre along shop street and in Eyre Square centre. You could walk to all that from the aquarium car park if you like walking (via mutton island, the cladagh and Spanish arch) or you could move the car to a city centre car park for the shopping if you prefer (around 2 euro per hour in most car parks).
Galway museum is near Spanish arch. It's free and and has lovely views of the claddagh from windows. Worth popping in for 30 mins.
    Have a lovely day.
