hi , got a 2003 Renault Clio 1.2 16v and its rough on idling, but a lot better on idling (if not absolutely perfect) when I disconnect the front O2 Lambda sensor (engine light comes on, i predict it runs in a 'guess' mode when the Lambda is disconnected) - bought a brand new lambda sensor off ebay and have fitted it, but again when its connected its not as smooth idling when its connected as it is when its not connected.

    Things have done with car:
Changed MAF sensor on throttle motor body box with a new sensor,
Took off TDC sensor and give it a clean,
Took off knock sensor and cleaned it.
took off inlet manifold and cleaned throttle body
Took off 1 spark plug lead at a time - good spark there on each cylinder
    Cleaned injectors
    Checked air Filter
put gasket sealer on rubber seal on oil breather pipe inside throttle body box - cleared oil breather pinhole on top part of throttle body box

    Things to do:
take off after cat (rear) sensor & check/clean
Take out spark plugs - need to get meself proper long reach thin wall socket
